Weddings at St John's -

'The man said, “This is now bone of my bones and flesh of my flesh; she shall be called ‘woman,’ for she was taken out of man.” That is why a man leaves his father and mother and is united to his wife, and they become one flesh.'

(Genesis 2:23-24 - Holy Bible, New International Version)

St John's is a stunning building in a great location and we’d love to host your special day & help you to prepare for the joy & commitment of married life.

You can click on the PDF link to view

and download our wedding brochure.

You can also visit the Church of England's wedding site yourchurchwedding.org. To make an enquiry about marriage, please call in at either our Sunday 10.30am service or our Wednesday 11am service and talk to our Vicar, Steve.

Baptism at St John's -

'There is one body and one Spirit, just as you were called to one hope when you were called; one Lord, one faith, one baptism; one God and Father of all, who is over all and through all and in all.'

(Ephesians 4:4-6 - Holy Bible, New International Version)

If you’re thinking about making the commitment of Baptism (sometimes called Christening), for yourself or for a child, we’d love to hear from you so we can talk about the options & begin the preparations. Baptisms usually happen during our 10.30am service.

To make an enquiry about baptism whether it's for yourself or for a child, please get in touch with our Children and Families Pastor, Lauren Platt, by clicking here.  Lauren will get in touch and introduce you to St John's and explain what happens during the preparation process.

You can also click on the link to view download the PDF version of our Baptism pack below. This contains a parent's brochure, 3 copies of our godparent's brochure, an application form and a sheet giving details of the activities we have for children and families.
